Won't work. We're too weak, RK. We're doomed, man. You see a word, a light goes on, and bang! It happens! Spontaneous combustion! And off we go on another tear!

Senri, If you only use three lug nuts per wheel imagine the weight you'd save.:biglaugh:

... and I will only use very worn tires to minimize the amount of rubber....

Us frugal types get full value for our money. It will make one more trip with the current steel treads. To the store to mount the new ones.:biglaugh:

Hope the inside air pressure is greater than the outside. But those wires blend so well with the bumpers.:D

I didn't know (believe it or not) that Air weighs the almost the same as the Air-fuel ratio for an Internal Combustion Engine 14.7 pounds per square inch. Just found that trivial tid-bit a couple days ago.

Here's my dilemma. I bought new Uniroyals all around for mine just before I blew the engine (maybe 400 miles before). I got the donor which got new Goodyears about 2 months before I got it. 9 good mounted tires. Only about 4 or maybe 6 Fairmonts within 50 miles of here. I better drive a lot or sell some, before they rot.

Well I was going thru my RPO codes and my wagon is supposed to have aluminum bumpers front and rear as well as a plastic(probably fiberglass) tailgate. It has neither But I can tell the car has had body work so maybe thats why they are not there. You really have not idea how much weight plays a part in performance of your car.
