The beast belongs to me now:thumbs2:. I met the daughter at the house and she gave me the keys. Thank gawd there is no mold smell inside and no fuzzy anywhere:bowdown:. I must admit, the upscale interior seats are much more plush and cooshie than my 87. Seriously thinking about dying them a bit darker and doing a swap.

Kinda a shame as it appears to be original millage but sorry die hards, it's my parts for life extra wagon as it will need to much of everything to be road worthy and presentable again.

    77401 km's = 48097 Miles.

I'll now have a complete A/C unit as my 87's was removed for some reason years ago.

So then I went to pay the brother who happens to work at a GM dealership and they just happen to have a 2014 Vette in the showroom....... for only $71.000 witch is now sold so I couldn't get in and look under the hood.

Darn Tedy. Sorry you missed a good buy on a yeller Corvette. You and the dogs would look good riding in that to the hardware store for lumber.

Oh Brother! Now I've seen everything! :slap::slap:

I'm not "sold" on the Current Corvette's styling. Does anyone else think it's getting a bit too generic? Kinda looks like another sports car builder from a Mediteranean nation?

We;ll be waiting to see a lot more :camera: when you get the new estate home! (y)

Congrats on the new wagon, Tedy!
Where are you going to put it?
I seem to remember that Deb already had to thread the needle to get out of the driveway. Lol

    You ain't seen nothing yet!:rofl2:

Yeah, Deb took all the fun out of my drive way:rofl2:.....I'm kidding, she lets me get away with murder:)......I also have next months full mortgage in the bank now, but that's a surprise for when she comes home from Ontario so..... SssHHHHHHHHHhhhhhh. It's the little things like that, that keep me alive every month:yup:....and get away with murder!:29:

I have a barn on a farm a few miles away from home, it will go there. ( I am sure I told you both about my storage barn when you were visiting..?)

So I went and put tires on the beast for tomorrow's tow and look what I found! Should I????:rofl2::disagree::disagree::p
    [IMG]

I swear this car Fairmont has not moved in years! I even offered to buy it in 2009 before I bout my blue Crewzer but owner said no..... Oh well, this one is not meant to be. I'm guessing a 78/9 because of the fender vent thingys. I didn't get out and look because if I did...........................:dancing:

So then off to the barn I went. So I un-tarped "parts1" and of course needed a charge from sitting all winter and took some fresh gas...........

Needs a good clean and detail again but after the second prime with fresh gas and a charged battery it flashed rite up.

Rolling on storage tires, road tread with same rims, caps, and beauty rings on roof.

The 'cool' part of the A/C unit is you can source 134a-spec new parts (compressor, receiver/dryer and, if it has one, orifice tube) to do a 134a swap. It'll cost you up front, but you'll save down the road to pay it off. Last time I looked it up, R12 was about $120/LB USD, and no telling what it might be up in The Great White North, eh?
And that Zephyr wagoon...my older brother Tim had an '80 or '81 wagon, no wood sides, that had the vents. I believe all the Zephyr iterations had them thru the '83 MY. How much is the guy asking for it, out of curiosity?

And while waiting for the battery to charge, I fell in love.....

I have no idea who's it is and it wasn't there a couple weeks ago and DAM I want it!!!!

The entire truck looked pretty fresh, the only flaw I could see was someone butchered the dash at some point for a radio.

And 2 more new to the yard.....In front of it under cover appears to be a mint late 70"s Ford F250 and on the other side of the cargo van a Pontiac Ventura 2 door. I snooped but they are not my car/truck so I wasn't going to pull the covers off.

As I mentioned.... I never got out and looked. I just mite have hauled another one to the barn. Now if it was a parts wagon for my Beateor I would have 4 wheel drifted into the sellers front door to buy it! :162::evilsmile:

I think tomorrow I'll flash up the Crewzer, mite even transfer insurance .... can't get a good pic inside the barn. BTW, "Parts-1" will sit outside for awhile because it runs and drives, I gave it's spot to "Parts-2" because it doesn't. Awwwwww,,,,,, I have a lot of de-hording and organizing to do so I can park "Parts-1" in the other half of the barn. Sorry, I won't show you a pic of that wonderful pile of stuff (CR@P):D

And like all ways, Crewzer sitting on it's storage tires, mags are inside. Incase anyone is wondering, those are bed sheets I lay down before I tarp.... Deb seems to have to buy new ones every year once I store my cars:rednose:

Today I did remove all the news papers for moisture and Bounce fabric softener sheets from the interior, smells like cloths out of the dryer fresh and I don't know why but insects, mice, etc don't like the stuff and stay away. I had Bounce inside and under the hood of both cars.

Held up dam good all winter.......

And then on the way home, this poor Cresida a 1/2 mile from my barn has been sitting for a few years now..... with the drivers window open. I can just imagine the horror you would see if you looked inside.

EDIT>>>>> I almost forgot who has been driving me around for all this commotion. NOW THEN....... HHHhhmmmmm, what do me and the boys eat tonight?
