Check the glove box and see if there is a key for locking hub caps if so then the centers should just pop out to access the locks inside the hub caps

    If not, check this place....

You can also get advice from the dealer's parts or service department.

    Late news......................

I just checked my parts database, and there's a possibility you can just change the insert. Bad news is that new ones cost $40 or so.....each.
    I'd check with Hubcap haven.

I do have a key for the lock in the glove box, forty dollars, is that for the insert or the whole center cap, that's almost a 1/4 of what i paid for the car.

    ^ ^ ^ ^

That was list price on a Mercury insert. I was looking up the machined allow wheel for the Colony Park LS. Database quoted $40 and change for an "insert". Can't be sure it's talking about the correct one, though. I also just looked up the wheels for the Squire. There's even more choices there (anywhere from $8 to $35 or so for each) , and my DB doesn't pin down which 'ornaments' go with which wheel - you'll need Hubcap Haven or a Ford parts guy for that.

The flat part is what removes the cover to reveal the nuts that hold the caps on.At one time the originals fell off which they are bad for doing.
