*whistles* "...Starts at $22,900...." Yeah, that's rareified air, all right. But, ya gotta have dreams, to have dreams come true.

Don't confuse factory crate motors built on an assembly line to production tolerances with a custom built, hand-assembled, blueprinted engine using aftermarket parts. You get what you pay for.

By the way, that car was pro-built and is well into six figures for the whole build.

That, I understand, but the last thing I read several years ago, was that there were very few parts to make a complete Boss 429, including ignition wires, and any parts floating around were usually used to repair/restore existing engines. If John Kaase has brought this out, A) he's made a whopping investment to do it, and B) as I don't walk in those circles, I didn't know he had done so.

I'll try this again. No original Ford parts were harmed in the building of these engines. A company called Eliminator Products makes new Boss '9 blocks and heads. At least half a dozen engine builders will assemble you a custom built motor using these parts. Kaase is only one of them.

There is a show on motor trend on demand and I think velocity, called hand built hotrods. It shows the build of this car and a few other cars that the same shop built. They build some really nice and custom stuff.

You're right. I just came across the show the other day. Last night there was an episode on TV and it was focusing on this wagon. Pretty cool.
