You need to have taken your 1 mile walk and drank 4 cups of Coffee before you venture onto Highway 19 ........ top allert at all times!

Great wagon. Welcome from the Space Coast (Cocoa Beach...) I'm going to need to look into that Vintage Air for my '58.

    Rev,

One of the major reasons for attending as many car shows/cruise nights is the drive. Sure it's nice to see friends and look at cars, but it's all about the drive. I moved in May from Auburn, New Hampshire to Weeki Wachee, Florida for of course the change in climate, a major part of that decision was rather than put the car up in storage for the winter, I could drive my car everyday if I wanted.....It's all about the drive.

    Teej,

Installing A/C in my 56 was the best investment I've made since moving to Florida. I chose Classic Auto Air over Vintage Air because of their OEM presence in Tampa and the after market assembly in Dallas. I figured they knew something about high heat, high humidity and high dew point conditions. The important result is that the car is cool as I drive down the road. I'm sure when you get in installed in your 58 you will say the same thing.

Oops, my mistake... I was just thinking of aftermarket air conditioners for vintage cars and it came out Vintage Air, because I'd seen enough advertising... It's always nice to find someone that has first hand experience with a product. I've been driving my cars without AC for years now but maybe by next summer I'll have something. Anything you'd do differently now that is all said and done?

Nice '56. I had a two door years ago where the little rain gutter would flip up whenever I opened the door. Pretty neat, I thought, let alone the hidden gas filler behind the tail light. Nice job. Glad the ac worked out so well for you.

Neat wagon, great reasoning in the move - to own, own, own them is to drive them - wasn't that a song? Oh wait, maybe it was to know, know, know him is to .......

My gas filler is still behind the taillight, but I've never heard of the rain gutter thing.... I gotta find a picture of that.
