I would prefer a 71, but I'm not familiar with the 70 and 72, if they look similar enough I wouldn't have a problem with it. For price I could go as high as 10k. The only options I really consider are that its running and has a decent interior, I'm not too concerned what is under the hood. I have already been looking for a few years, so time isn't entirely an issue.

Yes, it was. He had a car shop in Washington, and was actually a friend of my now deceased ex-husband. I have papers around here somewhere with his name on it.

Another thought.. and I'm just throwing this out there. I know you're really wanting this particular model/year.. however I'll venture to say that there are many other models/years that you would be just as happy with. If it has to be this particular model you may have to wait awhile.. however, if you're looking for a nice classic wagon with the same "feel".. I'd keep your options open to others as well. Go out and try a few out.. you may surprise yourself. If you do that you'll come out ahead $$$-wise in the long run.

    Just my 2-cents. (y)

Sneva has a very interesting bio on Wikipedia......

    Interesting facts:
    - First driver to qualify for the Indy 500 with a speed over 200 mph (1977)
    - Winner of the 1983 Indy 500

He's still alive (born 1948). wonder if he's still in Washington......?

I've see a lot worse ones brought back. I really like the front styling and the vented tailgate. Sharp! Hope it gets saved!

Classic car at a great price! All original, 50k miles, 400 small block engine, ver rare clamshell design back window/gate feature. Everything works great, runs great and recently went to the drive-in! Has normal wear and tear, but would not take much to turn this into a show car! Has original, factory warranty paperwork and owner's manual!

Email for more details, info and/or offers. Please put Impala in subject line.
