I think you just solved your own problem. Let him have the Rambler and hope he keeps the grocery job. So, that when the time comes to driving it, he should be in his late thirties to early fourties when all the parts are paid for, unless, of course, you help him out, in between then, by having him run whiskey for ya'.
What's the deal with those photos? They ain't loading up

That Pontiac LeMans is a terrific wagon! I would try to discourage making it into yet another GTO clone, though. It has gotten to the point where there are more clones than LeMans wagons out there! That one is even rarer, though, being that it has the wood grain option. It would be wonderful to see that great car brought back to life. Perfect platform for a Q-ship!

Being a Pontiac nut, I'd vote for it...

As for the clone, I'd skip it as well. I still like the scooped hood though. When I had my '67 I put the scooped hood on it and grill, but took the letters from a VW Touareg and made it a GOAT

I had a scooped hood on my 69 Mach 1 SCJ. It was a police magnet and I was always getting pulled over for no particular reason. I took it off and had no further problems. It wasn't worth the hassle.

i am really trying to get him to do the vega wagon with V6 five speed.. the pontiac would be a longer project because it needs more sheetmetal work and complete engine and trans rebuild.. because he still dont have me completely talked into giving up my 69-400 and four speed.. he is kinnda sour acting about leaving the 350 automatic in it. ha ha ha . but he has to help me with building michelles car before anything get's decided anyway so we have time still before any work starts on his

That's a good plan, Whiskey...........let's see how much he does and learns on the Olds wagon. That could help him decide how involved he wants to get in the project he chooses.
