I'm white and I'm proud. When we travel from central Ill back to Florida we often go down I-55 to New Orleans. Our son's BD is Aug 8th. We were near Memphis when he mentioned wanting to see Graceland someday.
Wife and I had been years earlier. We stayed at two RV parks for over a week and loved Graceland and the museum. Wasn't expensive then and I'm cheap! We took the basic house tour and enjoyed it. Elvis had left the building!

Holey crap! I don't think we'll be visiting Elvis again soon. I really don't remember paying to park but not sure.
Sadly theme parks, museums, etc are getting too expensive for people with families. $50 would buy a lot of BBQ down town.

the last time the tour was in memphis i went to sun studios and the Loraine hotel where ML king was shot and just got to graceland as they were closing so it was something i wanted to do but it was something like $15 to park and the basic tour i took you now use an ipad with headphones to go thru the house then get on a bus to go here and get on a bus to go there .it was someplace i always heard about and i can say i was there and got a shot glass but i think sun studios was more fun

We enjoyed the little museum downtown Memphis which is also a police station complete with police.
When we were at the Graceland museum we took a short bus to the house and used some sort of thing to listen to the tour.
I heard one of the planes is no longer there. A big disappointment anyway.
