next stop was the Little Bighorn Battlefield. What an amazing collection of historical stuff including his uniforms, a saddle from the battle . It was easy to see how they got overwhelmed by the indians . being that it is on Crow indian land the tour is narrated by descendants of indians who were present at the time of the battle

the old dealership is now a vfw post and on the day i was in town they were having a lunch special which was very good
i never realized how the jewish and chinese people affected deadwood but the pic looking into the doorway is supposed to be an entrance to the underground tunnels unfortunately the tours were not running yet
the slime plant is a bar renovated by some country stars and hosts a bunch of concerts

There's a VFW about a city block from where we might move someday. My friend lives close and goes to play Bingo or cards. Maybe we'll eat there now and then. Even non members can eat and visit.
During bike events we've had some nice meals at those halls and other animal group clubs.

Even when I was young we never were told much about real history. It's worse now because we aren't supposed to know about our past.

Which leads to a question. What's a SLIME PLANT?

well it was on my way to sturgis after driving thru the boondocks . a few from the full throttlr saloon, then onto the crazy horse memorial and then head east to Wall drugs home of the free ice water - for those that have traveled I95 think along the lines of Pedro's south of the border
