    OK
I've learner more about C-6's than I thought I would ever know !
I've almost got it back together (again)
It seems in the past someone replaced the 1968 C-6 with a 1966 C-6
And nowi know the difference !!!
So I figured that out and replaced the components to make it a
    Good 1968-1971 unit.
I've also been working on straightening the wheels I bought of Craigslist.
It's going pretty good,, I haven't broke them yet , I purchased them cheap
Because the guy hit a curb pretty hard on 3 of them,
But for $90. What the hell , I'll try to fix me for that much !!
I pressure washed the under side again , I can't believe how much
    Crap was under there !!
Hopefully this weekend we can get her back together and road tested!!

Ok getting ready to reinstall the rebut tranny
But first I had to replace a stripped exhaust manifold stud
And then I noticed my rake line going to the right front
Was smashed flat,? Probobly from someone replacing the started
At some point.so I had to cut out and install a coupling,,
What a pain !!! Good thing the tranny wasn't in yet !
Tonite it goes back in ,,,, if everything else goes smooth

Smart, forward thinking individuals will always replace all their exhaust nuts with brass ones. They are half again as long as a regular nut and they always come off in the future.

Got her running for a text drive
Runs pretty good , need a smaller wheel spacer in front
Front rubs way to easy. , they are 9" wide !!
    I have 2" spacers 1-25/1.5 should work
Exhaust leaks , the compression gaskets
On the back of the manifold I picked up
Are too small . Didn't realize it till late Sunday
5 auto parts stores no stock ???
    It requires 2.25"ID ??
I'll hit a muffler shop I the morning,
