Free Pacer Wagon, OH

Wow I haven't seen that style Ohio license plate in a long time. What are your plans for this thing?

and kevin, its sat for 10 years, hence the old license plate......and im not sure, probably just get it back to road worthy condition, it sat in a garage for about 7 years, then was moved to a barn for 3 and its been sitting outside for about a week or 2. so it shouldnt need to, to much

I'm happy for you but I think you should go and look at this wagon as a project car that will need alot of work and time to drive, not something that needs as you put it..."shouldn't need to much" . The pics are not the best but I can see alot of rust, so what does the underside look like?

I've had more than one "free" car in my time and I've refused a few free ones also because of...it's gona take alot of time and $ that won't pay off in the end.... are you committed to the project, can you aford to be committed?

If I had a Pacer wagon though, OMG I'd be all over this ons asap as a parts car Maybe I'm wrong but what I see is dam good parts car. I see alot of rust, and the front fenders and hood have been replaced..why? Rust or collition? Are you getting a title with the car?

 

dont get me wrong, i understand what im gettin into, but if my brother takes me down there (which he's probably going to), i know we're not coming back empty handed, iv read up on the pacer alot, and this one is pretty well optioned, with the automatic, radio, bench seat, factory air, power steering......and honestly i dont think the frame is that bad, from what the guys are telling me, its in pretty good conditon, yes there is some rust, i don understand that. but hey, if worst comes to worst ill sell it for part (never a demo guy tho !!!) but really iv always loved pacer's and pacer wagons so i would realllllllly hate to do that. but thanks everyone for the heads up, i do know it could be alot of work and im "pacing" myself for it

and tedy, if you look at this pic, the door jams dont look to be rusty, so im thinking the bottom is pretty good condition , i may be wrong tho
