Huh, this looks (overall) good considering there weren't any large Wagons that year. I don't mind the Roadmaster rear end, Ford had the same general rear end on their 79-91 Wagons that G.M. had two years earlier on theirs. Aside from the F150 tail lights and middle door windows not matching the rear side windows, this looks like a good design to me.
We were recently discussing this one on a station wagon Facebook page. - Most of the 'wagon bits' come from a '91-'96 Chevy Caprice B-body wagon. (Note that there's glass roof panel over the second seat, and no 'stepped' roof.) - As previously mentioned, the tail lamps come from a late-model (early 2000's...) F-150 stepside. - The Caprice quarter glass would not have worked with this design. Appears some filler metal was used, and the quarter glasses are actually from a first-gen Taurus or Sable. Has a modified tail gate as well, with a license panel from (guessing here) a Lincoln LS sedan (?)
It’s a bad period for the Ford body styles. Gawd those bubble f-150s are pretty ugly. But I prefer the square body styling. Even those Lincolns are bad. I’d still drive it
