Thank you Mike. I would be lying if I said I hadn't thought about it. The problem is that I know that they were trying to get me off disability, and thousands of other people too. The more immediate problem is that even if I file an appeal I don't get any more payments after my last one next month until I get, IF I get put back on it and that process is NOT a fast one even with a lawyer. It says so in the paperwork I got. They already took my SSI with the excuse of Zoe making too much money last year and part of 2011. Now they have my SSDI. I'm still "disabled" but I'm a disabled young person who has been seen fit to do some kind of work. I remember the first appointments I had to go to during this. It was a double appointment. It was one the worst doctors appointments I've been through. Both the medical doctor and the psychiatric doctor treated me like I was a system scammer. There was no evidence of my health problems. Literally, they had a record of the fact that I am disabled but, for some mysterious reason, the state of Missouri didn't have/didn't send my medical records. So... "It say here that you're disabled. But it doesn't say what your health problems are." So I tried to talk to them and tell them but I got told to shut up and ONLY answer the questions they asked. I have never been in a situation like that. In my paperwork it states that the doctors said in their report that I did NOT have a cane and had no visible sign of tremors or a limp. I NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT MY CANE!!! Some social situations are very difficult for me like DOCOTRS APPOINTMENTS even going to get my taxes filed I get nervous and my memory takes a hike. Zoe has to be there with me. Unfortunately only one of us could ride down there and it had to be me. Lets face it. There is no way they were going to let me stay on disability.

As for venting. Zoe gave my a bit of a lecture for mot venting. I have been bottling it all inside. Last time I did that I ended up in the hospital. I love Zoe. She helps me and keeps balance in my life. I would be lost without her. Her and I... We are all we've got... And our cats and we aren't losing them either. Somebody years ago told us to take our cats to the vet and have them out down to make our lives easier, and that was after we told them we would never dump our cats off in the middle of nowhere.

Like I said. I'm trying to decide if I want to ask for the help we were promised and then denied.

Xavier, I am the Director of a facility here in Alabama and my bread and butter is helping folks in your situation. Seriously, that is what I do day in and day out.
I can help you directly, I am sure.
Pm me your phone number or I can PM you mine. There is no reason for you to be treated in such a terrible manner..

Doc: Xav's access to the net is sporadic, and getting worse. I'm sure he will be in touch as soon as he can. One thing is very for sure, though, you never need ask where you gum is anymore. We'll all be sending you Wrigley's best for life!

Okay... Um, Zoe and I both know that we can't pass a credit report. Well I MIGHT be able to. We have a few places to go tomorrow to try to find some help with this. We will be on foot all day and we have to go talk to our friends tomorrow. I pray that they can help us. That they will ask their relative to help. We have a rough idea as to the amount of money we need. We have already accepted that we are going to lose our little apartment and are hoping instead to be able to find another place in the time that we have. We don't want to leave our general area since there are so many things that are just right; stores and location, etc. our neighborhood is really peaceful compared to an "upscale" area 20 minutes walk away. Anyways. There is so much here that is really good for us here, we just need stable work and now to find a new home. We feel good about this choice to find a new place to live. DocZ, I don't know what info you need but send me a PM and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you everybody.
