Remember way back in the day (for me at least, some of y'all still think it was yesterday) I grew up in the back of an LTD Wagon pulling a camper all over the US.

    My father found a picture:

For reference, he's the one I have now - damn near identical - just no bad-ass rear spoiler and blue, not green

Nice old picture. And super fine wagon that you have today. Love the colors.

Looks identical to the 1973 Terry 23' travel trailer my family had when I was growing up. We towed it behind my Dad's blue 1971 Ford Country Squire, and later behind the gold 1977 Country Squire that replaced the 71. Just today, I ran across the original brochure for the 1973 Terry Travel Trailer while cleaning out my Mom's house. And theres an old Polaroid picture of my Dad with the trailer and the gold 77 Squire.

Just sold our 1998 21' Terry RV. Except for the project old UltraVan motorhome this is our first time RV'less since our first in the 60's.
Before that it was tents. Like I'm gonna sleep in a tent now!

Yeah, no s#!t. The last time I went camping, I at least had an air mattress, and it got a tiny air leak (likely because I weighed 450 lbs back then, even though Coleman rated it for 500), so by the time all the ringy-dingy 2-stroke cycle riders revved up at 7 am on a Sunday, I was sleeping on the ground. I won't do it again. And I need an air pump that pumps much more CFM in.

The interior is a cloth / vinyl mix - cloth on the tops and backs, vinyl on the sides.

So much nostalgia with these vehicles. I'd love to find an old trailer I think, now, too. Take my little grand daughter camping with me.

Nice pic, Skink. I gotta ask. Did your take the wheel covers off the Squire and put them on the trailer?

Haha - I was about 10 at this point, but who knows what Pop did with the hub caps.

The girl in the picture is my cousin - we used to go camping together a lot since we were so close in age, her just a couple years older than me. Then she got into boys and then it was just me and Pop, but that was OK, too.
