I was thinking the same thing, And being afanatic of the 57 since childhood, I've seen many. Just never an ambulance. Cool.

I like the profesional cars, especially the early ones. These pics are great, thanks for sharing.

In all honesty, I do not think I have ever once seen a flower car in a funeral procession! Neat idea, I have to admit

I'm from the Midwest---Illinois is Midwest isn't it? And I admit I've seen many FLOWER CARS at funerals. Thank goodness not at mine yet.
And yes I've seen FLOWER CHILDREN in hippy vans. Not at the same time.

Well, yes in deedy. Our rock band neighbor had a big yeller school bus with black writing and flowers painted all over it. They'd practice in the bus till all hours until the cops finally got tired of some danged neighbors calling them all the time. I still don't know who some of those neighbors were. At least i'll never tell!
The young girls would dance on top of the bus. Watching barefoot braless girls dancing was rather interesting. :rofl2:

Those hippys lived at the very end of the cul-de-sac and we were on the next pie shaped lot. Our house was a single story with the basement half exposed. That put our dining room patio door just about roof level to the old bus. I didn't have to be on the roof of the bus. I was only checking to see where all the loud rock music was coming from and trying to enjoy that loud music to broaden my love of varied music. :yahoo:
