It's the mushroom syndrome. Covered in too much crap makes it dark enough to grow them. :rofl2:

Hey wasn't it one of the Virginia Coal mines where they were experimenting with growing mushrooms, some years ago?

I know. It just reminds me of all the Chryslers and Dodges my dad, uncle and I drove.

I've got 17's on the squire. 255/50/17's (another impala SS application) kept the same overall diameter as stock (27") 215/70/15's. Ride is good (as it can be with the 1000lb/in springs and extra heavy valved shocks)

With my old car, just going to 7" wide wheels with the stock 215/70/15's made a big difference in handling.

It's all about what you want it to look like and what you want to spend on tires. My 17's are just stock mustang wheels, and were cheap. The tires aren't too bad pricewise either.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. I guess I remember those famous Oldsmobile ads, where the lady had her cosmetics on the top of the front seat back, while she was putting on her make up. I like a smooth ride, and sure-footed steering and braking. More footprint, more bite. :D (y)
