I named the 67 Country Sedan, Delores. No idea why, it just hit me. She seems like a Deloris.

My wife named her Diamond Lil, as she thinks she is a diamond in the rough.

The 70 Plymouth is named Thor, because of my Norwegian background and he sounds like the God of Thunder. LOL

The 69 Chevy is named Chiana, my wifes favorite character from the Farscape, a fav show of ours.

Nothing too funny, I am afraid.

    (1) why did they name it Cutty Sark?..It don't matter...The Captain names the boat. (2) just noticed this---Comfort Wagon?..What is that? A trim level?..and what's IT'S name?..;)

The Comfort Wagon was a step up from the SE, but below the ZTW.

When we were looking for a Focus wagon back in 2003 or so, we wanted used and SE's were plentiful, but not ZTW's. According to the online price guides only ZTW's were available with cruise control that year. We had to have cruise, but then we found SE's with cruise and there was no explanation. Not until I bought the 2002 dealer brochure off of Ebay and there it was, 3 cars listed, but not on the online price guides: a SE Comfort Wagon.

The Comfort Wagon included Cruise, Tilt/Telescoping wheel and map lights and had options for anti-locks which this car has (and not available on the SE).

This car also has the upgraded engine, found on the ZTW (Zetec 130hp).

    Kind of weird bird.

She was named "the wagon" until the 67 came along in August. Now that is too confusing and we haven't named it beyond "the Focus" yet.

Well...Hadn't heard about all that...More than just trim,if it comes with a better engine and better brakes...Somewhat disappointed that online brochures are incomplete. That's not good.

...sort of like, "Hi, I'm Larry, and this is my brother Daryl, and this is my other brother Daryl".
I like it. But isn't it embarrassing when you get their names mixed up and call one by the other's name?

My wife just calls my wagon "that white trash piece of crap in the drive way". Not really sure if it's out of any affectionate reasons though.
    I have no pride! :rofl2:

ive always named mine, ever since i started driving in highschool. i started out with my grandmothers 72 lincoln, from the time when they engraved dash plates.

Friends would say " who is that?" id say its the cars name. Clara B, stands for Clara Belle.
    Then after her
83 Mark IV " Black Beauty"
    97.5 Regal "Priscilla"
    96 Town & Country " Pearle"
    85 Riviera " Beullah"
85 Caprice Wagon " Flo" named by my friend because she Flows down the road
89 Colony Park " Labruce" after the previous owner.
89 Town Car im still deciding on a name for. either June after my mom, or Julia from Julia Sugarbaker who drive an 88 Towncar in Designing Women

Over the years I've had a few rigs. Some of them have received names, usually from my wife.

87 Ranger: Floyd. Two tone brown. Always reminded me of an older gentleman with a felt hat and bow-tie.
81 F-100 step side: Maxx, later changed to Maxine. Triple Black. She had a temper.
94 F-150: Rusty. It wasn't. Wife named it.
    71/78 Broncos: "The Bronco"
78 F-250 crew cab: Affectionately named "Rolling Turd" by my buddies when I first bought it. Now known as "The truck formerly known as the Rolling Turd"
Of course there is the 1964 Plymouth Fury. Always referred to as "The Plymouth" by Grandpa and my dad. I've always called it "The Fury". Some kids in High School called it "The Ghostbustermobile"
    Wife’s cars:
    97 Taurus: "Doris the Taurus"
99 Mercury Sable: "Mable the Sable"
