I like it better without the roof rack.

    Tipmaster,

Yeah, if it didn't come with a rack I would not have put one on. But as the roof has 10 half inch diameter holes punched in it for the rack and a few minor ripples and dents from previous owners loading stuff negligently onto the rack, it was easier to replace the rack to hide all of that than to go thru the work to weld the holes and straighten the roof.

Also, to me a wagon looks OK with a rack. Sure as heck won't affect my fuel mileage.

AS a note, got started last night sanding out all of the rear areas that were painted interior trim color, then primed and repainted with satin beige. Getting close to finalizing and reassembling the cargo area. Soon another one off of the list.

I thought I had posted these, but didn't. Immediately after working on the following, it got hot here in SoCal (I know, nothing compared to Phoenix or Las Vegas, my friends there told me), work got busy, and I jacked up my back bring on my recurring sciatica. So no progress until Thanksgiving.

Anyway, the following was completed in July, I think. Seems long ago now.

Painted a ton of screws for the back area. Would have preferred shiny new chrome ones, but not in the budget.

Cleaned the rear metal floor panels with Purple Power and elbow grease. Scuffed 'em up and repainted. Some difference.

Also sandblasted and cleaned the metal window trim. Then painted everything.

Also put some of the Peel-n-Seal under the load floor panels.

Most all installed. The load well door needs repairs, so isn't installed yet.

My daughter and her puppies. She really loves going for rides in Dads Wagon.

More when it happens. Have some neat stuff to report.

    90merc,

    Actually, I can't. It's broken!

jmt455 and 90merc, and everyone else following,
Thank you for the positives. It has been, and continues to be fun to share the progress.

    Best,
    Tom
