Got a heated seat cover for those cold drives home from work...much quicker than the car heater.

 

OMG! Just think about it, a 100 years ago man rode in an open wagon. The only heat he got was when the horse wiggled his tail!
Our son just stopped by. He's been driving a friend's Cadillac since his truck tranny died again. Said on these cold Florida mornings he pushes a little button and the seat bottom and back warms him up in a minute, even before the heater kicks in. Amazing !
His older brother is a mail carrier in central Illinois where the temps are around zero. A mail truck is like driving a metal box. .Hot in summers and cold in winters. He gets to walk half his route to warm up.
I just sit here in the warmth of gas heat, suffering and sleep on a heated waterbed. Maybe I need a heated computer seat cover.

Thanks. The place he got his El Camino 700R4 that was supposedly modified went out of business before he got that one back. It only made it a few miles before going out.
This one in his truck is hopefully better covered. A coworker told him some governor plastic gear may have broken. He has a strong low and second but it will not upshift anymore.
Didn't know about a place in Brooksville. That's 100 miles south.
