I thought Chevelles were made here for the US market? Anyway, we call them Chevelles. Yours might have different motor/tranny options. What's this? Love 'em and leave 'em? Not a chance. Andy's a land barron, and once he gets his ducks in a row, I won't have anybody to bug, except you guys. Besides, once I get the bugs out of her, I'll have to tell you how I got my MPG to 50 MPG! Or how I figured out how to make gas into water.
Here that was a Pontiac Beaumont, versus a Chevrolet Chevelle. We had both. Same car, but Pontiac priced it a couple of C-Notes higher.
Close 'nough! Lots to do yet. We're up at 4:00 AM for her flight to Mexico, so I got get my thumbs in high gear. Ciao!
It's movin'. Got the wife to the airport and picking up my building materials today. My philosophy is that we eat to do dishes and we work to eat! No rest for the righteous or the wicked, and its still too early to decide which one I am.
I found an easy way to do that. 1) Take the seat bottom out. 2) Leave the seat-back out. 3) Peel back the carpet covering over the hinge mounts and remove both hinge brackets from the seat back and the hinged floor panel. Mount the hinge brackets and washers into the dogleg fasteners. 4) Slide the seat-back under the hinge flange and snug down 1 of the 3 bolts, then the floor panel's 2-bolt flange. Repeat for other side and fasten the remaining 2 bolts on the seat-back flanges on both sides, then tighten them down. 5) Use a brush-on contact cement and glue the carpet covers over the flanges. I left it until today, and recalled your post and figured Ford had to be foxier than that. The Factory manuals don't mention it.
