Good eyeballsmanship Cat, if the pics are 2 years old, everything could/would be different..... I didn't even pay attention to the dates.

While I suppose that is possible, and I haven't been there for much more than two years they have sat there for many many years before and not much (if anything) has changed.

The first step is to figure out exactly what you have there. The best bet is to get pictures of each individual car, and go from there. Some of them are quite rare models, and since most of the trim and glass looks good, there may be quite a lot of cash sitting in that field. I still love the look of that black Grand Prix, and what makes it unusual is the lack of a vinyl top, and the white interior. Neat set of options on it. Too bad the undersides are likely rotten on all of them. Just removing some of them could be a challenge. They may fall apart when trying to hook them up.

Auction isthe way to go - unless you want to move there, spend a month cutting the grass, and dealing with all the low-ballers in the world!
A 'package deal' to a scrap yard would maybe get you $500 each - but most would be crushed!
    A little overwhelming to most!

I imagine there is a small fortune in glass, tail lights and trim pieces alone.

    Just saw this post.
Most people who manage to acquire an auto graveyard like this tend to have them crushed for the scrap metal value.

At this point you have two options, the first I already mentioned, the second is to hire a team of two guys with a pickup to start parting them out for anything of value all the way down to the quarter-panels and rockers if rust free. I would concentrate on the 2-door coupes and sedans first. Then the wagons and finally the 4-door sedans.

Of course it would help if the workers are car guys and understand how these machines are constructed and what is and is not popular. But most of the stuff I see has plenty of value.
    Bad news... it's time consuming.
Good news... the guys can make a good living off the sales of the parts via eBay and Craigs list.

Some of these cars could be sold as is to anyone wanting such for a parts car or even a solid platform for a new project. But unfortunately they all look like they have been picked over at least once and might be missing key components.

I don't envy you this enterprise, but good luck.

By the way... GREAT photography. I saved one of the pics as my current wallpaper. (y)
