My problem was that not often enough did I remain objective and drive home without the car in tow :banghead3:

    But I've learned - or I think I have

Great choice in wheels, Marshall. Love the Rallye Wheel. Of course, the other option is the snowflake, IF you ever find a set. We know they look SPECTACULAR on these wagons!

As for snowflakes, I sold a set to my brother in law 30 years ago that are still laying in the same garage as when I dropped them off. I doubt he has even moved them in all that time. He might part with them but he is quite the hoarder. Delivery would be the issue. He's 12 hours east of where I live. If you want I can ask. I parted out a TA way back when they were just old parts cars :(

:162:Some times one just can't control where the mind goes when the lids are closed for the night. Like one time I had this horrible nightmare that I had actually bought a turdcel - :taz:

Actually, I was thinking more about the Hollywood sign than anything else. I had visions of being a great sign painter:clap:

I've always felt the only thing better than an A-body wagon is a B-body wagon.

Why do I feel deja vu?

Personally, I'd prefer the snowflakes for the 81 wagons. But the rallye's are nice too. :2cents:

Bet it was hard to let go of that money!:D
Buyer's remorse usually sets in around the time you have to pay up.:yup: And, usually, the longer you have searched the heavier the the doubt. You have been looking and searching for a long long time, KK. I expected you to have serious buyer's remorse. Even when the car gets there...you will wonder if you did the right thing. Brush all that aside and concentrate on getting a good, careful and reliable shipper. Then, when it arrives, concentrate on making this beauty all yours. You can always keep searching but you will be the owner of a great wagon while you are doing it.
You are going to love driving this car around town and down the road!(y)

    ^^^^

I'm really OK with spending the money this time, Mike. I believe I've earned this one. And although it might be a bit expensive for your usual GM 'box wagon', I think this is a rare enough wagon and in such excellent condition that I'm getting a killer of a deal.
