Roadking, this is the convincer, man! This one does it all. Good pics, good hand-holding text!

I'm hyped! Gnawing at the bit! Drooling with ideas! Ah, heck... its too cold.

This is the best I've seen yet. I love the way he slices a large channel to make the curves over the rear axle! That is so slick! :1st: (y) :oops:mg: :boxing:

I opened it like that (View All), waited 4 minutes to get everything on screen (big file), and then used File... Save As... and chose .htm, html to get the pictures separately in the new folder. That way if the site ever goes down, just when I'm doing it, I've got it here, on my drive. So well done for a Sticky! (y)

Thats what got me to looking the classified at Hambs. I seen a link to some cars for sale and there she was a 59 Chevy 2 Dr. Wagon calling my name. I hope he still got it and if he does my 86 will be a donor car.

Only get's better! The HAMB Vendor page has a whole bunch of guys offering uncommon parts. This one has ready-made Frame brackets (weldnuts in place, bent, shaped, welded up), alternator brackets...(y) :Woot:

    Guarding all the goodies? :)

When you get to Kansas, take a trip to the Library and look up all the Parts manufacturers. A lot of stuff comes out of that state.

If you buy a legal, running one, you might pay 20,000 pesos ($2,000). If it's legal, all there, but not running, maybe 10,000 pesos ($1,000). Don't bother with illegal ones. The US Customs won't let them through, PERIOD. I'd look either in Central MX, north of Mexico City, or South of Mexico City. The border towns have been picked clean. And get a trusted buddy to negotiate in Spanish.

Sorry to not get back on that, we busted a water line. Yeah, maybe late in summer/fall. I can stop by your place and in the meanwhile, I'll track down some of my wife's relatives to keep an eye out.
