    I think you're right; it's almost like there is standard "default" shape for vehicles now...usually driven by wind tunnel tests and the pursuit of better fuel economy.

    There is plenty of shame now! So, are these images doctored? What was the point in bringing these over for show use I imagine, if it was DOA? GM, you are pathetic.

    There's another posting that says that GM put the kibosh on this. Shame on them. I very well might have considered getting one since it would truly be the only American wagon on the market. I have always, and probably will always, prefer American cars over European ones, though, that being said, unless one of the US manufacturers gets some b@##@ and offers me an actual wagon, I've no choice but to go European.

    Oh, I agree. I bought my Subaru because there was no American wagon that matched up at the time. There was the Saturn wagon. Since I was going to move to snow country at that moment, all-wheel drive seemed good. And it helped that the Subie was built in Indiana. So at least it helped American workers despite the profits going back to Japan.
