Well I stepped over the GM line and bought me a 1966 Ford wagon, 390 4 barrel car, factory A/C with 9 passenger seating. Car has been in a garage since 1973 and is all original. Title is from the only owner it has had. Burnt orange exterior and white interior. Motor is stuck and I'm sure it's going to need a gas tank and a lot of love. But it's 100% unmolested and about 90% rust free.
Dang, that definitely fits the description of a "barn find"! I like it. I can't wait to see what you do with it.
Swanny its about time you crossed over , you lucky bugger share some more pics when its out of the shed (Aussie term) when will you be sending it Dowunder as I have a spare garage
Those mid to late 60's Ford wagons were great. Nice Country Sedan! I'll bet even the paint shines up nice.
OMG, anyone notice the floor jack holding up the roof post?!? So, yeah, if it doesn't have 300 small dents from the crap sitting on it, and no rodents have taken up residence, that should be a nice car to do a basic restore, let alone a full restore.
It has a big dent in the tailgate and a few on the hood/roof. But nothing that makes me want to repaint it. They are only original once and the paint should clean up very well and look decent
I mean the original "patina" look. I will get the paint buffed out and looking decent. I don't mind a few bumps and bruises. It shows character!!!!!
Sold the wagon to avid Ford guy. I really don't need another wagon and don't really need a Ford. But glad I could save it and flip it to another collector that will appreciate it
