    The last 50cent sale at pik a part(1989) I got a camel back small block chevy complete. The place was packed so getting the dolly was out of the question. So we put the stuff on a hood and with everyone else drug our stuff our like cavemen. They sold every hood and there was a pile of them left at the gate.

    There was a time in the recent past that I was pulling aluminum core supports out of G body GM cars at the pull-a-part for $20 and selling them on ebay for ~$300. Got a few from a small rural yard as well, but they got $40 for theirs. Then one day I got a call...the owner had died and the oldest daughter (executor of the estate) had called in a crusher. 7 days later, it was all gone..cars from the late 40s to current, old truck yard, and the tractor salvage too. Sad, real sad
