BeautifuL '60 Mercury Commuter hardtop wagon on E-bay

You know, KK....I have noticed that lately on eBay. There are very few snipers anymore for some reason. And RARELY on big ticket cars like this Merc. Don't know why but...that's the way it's been lately. I sniped my wagon and didn't even have to. Got it for the next minimum bid.

 

What are sniper bids?

 

When a bidder waits until the last seconds and swoops in and hits the item with a high bid, snoot. Usually high enough that he wins it in the last seconds and no one else has time to beat the bid.

 

Oh. I guess that's a strategy, and there are alot to be had with an auction. For example, I suppose there's no way one could stop the seller's friends, who have no intention of buying it, hopping on there and getting the bids up.

 

Nothing stopping that at all, snoot. And that's only ONE reason that I hate eBay.
