Maybe you shouldn't always be Batman.

Years after Mr. Barris created the Batmobile out of the poor unfortunate Futura, someone made a mold of it, and recreated a few Futuras. I think there may actually be a good reproduction of it in a museum.

Hell, there's passable repros all over the place. I'm just glad Mr. Barris, long before his passing last year, had got back some of his TV creations--the Batmobile, the Munster Koach and Drag-U-La from "The Munsters," etc., and had a museum to showcase all his creations he was able to get his hands on.

The ORIGINAL TV Batmobile that Barris created (with some help), was purchased at a Barrett-Jackson auction in 2013 for $4,600.000. I believe it still resides in the living room of the buyer's house, somewhere in Arizona. The Batmobile that Barris displayed was one of the recreations, that he purchased.

When I get rich I'm gonna buy a famous car and put it in my living room. Be a nice place to sit and play on the internet or watch TV.:rofl2:

Ah yes, I do now remember the B-J purchase. Well, if Barris had to settle for a copy, I'm sure he made it look as close as possible to his original, then.
