Not really. Just came across the pic and decided to use it.
This is the first car of my dad's that I remember. It's a Dodge Club Coupe - around a '48 or so (not sure of the year). I remember being about 4 years old and being at a hamburger joint and somehow breaking off the key in the right door lock. These pics were taken around 1956. That's also the house I grew up in - Mar Vista area of West Los Angeles.

Wow, that is neat. I wish I had that kind of detail on my fathers cars. Those are great pictures. I remember those cars being all over when I was growing up.

That would almost make for a neat thread - folks showing pictures of their family cars from when they were little kids along with memories.

I'm actually surprised there is a picture of this car - or any car my dad owned. He didn't know anything about fixing them, and wasn't a 'car' kind of guy......

I'm going to be visiting mom in a few weeks, and I'll ask her to go through some of the old photos she has....should have a few for scanning. Heck, I'll have to take the scanner/printer with me.......

Shoot! My sister has tons of great old car shots with my dad & mom in them. I don't know how to get them on here! My dad had some nice cars....from Model A's on up.
