She has a dignity and beauty all of her own, and I bet she does run like a dream. She has that look about her.

I had it on Craigslist for the last several months but then I started driving her again and deleted the add.. She attracts attention...simply because there are no others on the road today

Thanks Mike I've been working with No Budget so as I can afford $6.00 it buys another Rattlecan. Been doing allot of searching for Replacement parts... Not easy to come by

Thanks Cruiser.. It took feeling comfortable in Her to get that in my Head and we are going to keep her, Ordered My Dearborne and MAc catalogs so I can start ordering Replacement pans and stuff. Tail Gate is the Hardest part to find May have to Hand form some ne metal....

I was going to suggest posting what you are looking for in the wtb threads. The cool thing about these cars is that they are essentially Mustang wagons on a stretched platform. A lot of parts are the same, which means cheap and easy to find. A goodly number of parts were common with other Ford products as well. Let us know what you need, and who knows, we may have quite a bit of it floating around here already! Love that wagon, too. She looks like what she truly is: A solid driver that is loved, used, and cared for, but not abused. Perfect fate for an old car.

Congrats on getting the wagon running! Gotta keep those Fairlanes on the road! I know what you mean about not seeing them - I've only seen a couple other Fairlanes at car shows and none of them have been wagons. I've had some good luck with findings parts - let me know if you need help.
