    oh man

Well, that's not good at all...Have almost made contact with those types that signal and then don't do what they're signaling, myself.Personally,I think they're worse than the ones that don't ever signal.Or,don't signal to get in front of you and then do signal to get out of your way(?)And then, the worst part is the dirty look they give YOU!Like it's all YOUR fault they're a bad driver...A car insurance industry report, about twelve years ago said this;the car insurance industry thinks the average driver is one who's not a good driver. They're not bad drivers, they're not just very good at it...The average driver not only thinks that they ARE a good driver, they think they're BETTER than the average driver...And then, she drove of after smooshing you and your car?..That's felony hit and run, here in California.

she drove away after the police reports and everything. Her car was still operable, she didn't hit and run. Mine was up over a curb with the wheel pidgeon-toed in. I prefer people who don't signal as well. Atleast you're being more conscious of what they're doing, because they're a bit more unpredictable.

And as for the rebel flag, I'll fly it the rest of my life. That flag means a lot to me. My anscestors died for that flag.

    misunderstandings

Misunderstood the chain of events,sorry...Witnessed a collision between a 68 Chevy and a 72 Ford, once, where the Chevy rammed the Ford from behind. The Chevy was all tore up and leaking out all over---and while crumpled, the Ford was good to go...I read somewhere that changes between those years,in "safety technology",made the 72's much sturdier than the 68's,and that by 77,American cars were virtual battering rams in cars clothing.I guess that's why they got picked to be in demolition derbies.Modern crush zones are just no good for that kind of thing.

You are absolutely right about that. One could argue the 70's era cars were some f the safest cars on the road. Even if they were absolute gas hogs. Even today's SUVs get better gas mileage they those car did.

Does anyone remember the scene from the Dirty Harry movie Magnum Force, Det. Callahan commanders the SF police chief's 72 LTD after he discovers that he is behind the rogue vigilante killer cops that was the whole premise of the movie. He literally f**ks the car up in the chase scene with two killer cops who are riding police motorcycles. He takes on of them out by ramming the motorcyle cop head on and the car keeps on going.

    misunderstood chain of events

And the bike and rider are first lifted up in the air on the hood, before being body slammed on the pavement!..Yup,definitely classic Clint...The narcs at my high school had one of those cars.Somebody had taken the T off the center of the front of the hood, and glued an S off a different kind of car in it's spot. The narcs didn't bother fixing it...Trivial Pursuit point of order. In the first Dirty Harry is the black bank robber who says,"I gots to know" In Magnum Force,he's the Huggy Bear pimp that catches six .357 slugs.Other than Clint,he's the only person that's in all the Dirty Harry movies.
