I will be replacing the large R12 compressor on my 66 Malibu Wagon project. The plan is to change to a smaller compressor that uses 134. The alternator and power steering mounts will stay in the original locations on the left side of the engine. I am looking for information and possibly images on options for mounting the new AC compressor on the upper right side of the engine. If anyone has done this, I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks

I would use a Pro6ten-a compressor. It bolts up right in place of the old A6 and uses the same hardware. It's a modern compressor with less drag and perfectly compatible with either refrigerant.
