I was visiting a friend a few days ago and he told me that he had found some files of mine on his computer. Apparently what had happened was back in 08 I was unable to load my camera files onto my own computer, I think my own had just died actually, and he offered to let me unload onto his computer. It took me a couple of days to get around to getting the files onto my computer. I got to see some pics and vids that I thought that I had lost. I uploaded one that is of us riding in our old Merc. Here is the link to the video:

And I also found a few pictures of it as well.

I wish I had had the Forum in my life back then. We would still have this wonderful wagon. We still cry when we thin about it sometimes and kick ourselves in the @$$ because we listened to an idiot.

Here are a couple of other videos veaturing our wagon:

I know. After looking at these pictures and watching the videos yesterday I had a dream that I found the guy that towed it away and he still had it and just let us have it back. I know that this isn't possible because a week and a half after it was towed away I called him and he told me that it had just left on the truck to be crushed earlier that day. The "idiot" that we listened to was a guy who we thought was our friend. He never liked our little wagon and when we mentioned that it had a few problems he offered to look at it. Knowing now that he didn't have the slightest clue what he was doing we would have refused his offer but we didn't and he had told us that the engine was cracking and that we would have to buy a new one and that a new one would cost us half a years rent. I had just lost my job and Zoe was looking. I lost mine because my boss told me I had to choose between my job, as meager as it was, or my wife. Without saying a word I just walked out, got in my wagon, and drove off never to talk to them again. Zoe and I used to sit on the hood and talk all night under the stars, or go park somewhere with a great view and watch a thunderstorm roll through. In the four months we had our Wagon we went through a lot and grew so much. Going from being trapped in our home, traveling on foot to going anywhere we wanted or needed. We want another Mercury, either a Marquis or a Grand Marquis... Someday...

Cool beret, X. I always wanted to wear one, but every time I tried one on, I looked dorky....takes a certain 'look', and I don't have it.

Thanks, Krash. I have found that it takes a certain beret. I had about five different ones before I found this one and everybody said it looked the best on me. What is extra funny about that particular beret is that I bought it to go with a Halloween costume I was putting together for a party. I was to look like a... well... I went as a cheap hooker... Some said I did a good job looking the part and that I had the most original costume. I have had that beret ever since and no one can tell that it is a woman's beret.

A great find and a good friend. Thanks for sharing. You look good in that woman's beret.-------------Naw, I would have never known either. Some things have no sexual limit just because they are advertised as male or female.

Thanks you guys. I told Zoe about it and she got so excited and we spent the evening going down memory lane. At that point in our lives that Wagon was the single great thing we had outside ourselves. You can all understand that that is why we want another one of those or the larger Grand Marquis model. The importance of the Marquis is still all too great and present in our minds 4 years later. To get another one would be like welcoming a long lost family member back into our home. A lot of people have a particular car that they want with varying reasons as to why. I love all wagons but suffice it to say ZOe and I feel what seems like a need for a Marquis. I do believe that some day one such Marquis or Grand Marquis will came home to us and be with us for ever.

Believe it or not, Zoe and I wear a lot of the same clothes. Not so that I wear dresses. She doesn't. I have posted a pic before showing how I dress and that is kind of how Zoe dresses, too. There are a lot of clothes out there that can go either way as far as I'm concerned.

I can't resist using a "fannie' word here----------You'd look cute in a dress Xavier.
Only once in my life did I wear a dress. It was at a square dance Halloween party, complete with balloon boobs. Now don't let this get around.
:camera:No photos available so it never happened.
And I remember driving my Gran Torino wagon so it is wagon related.

I have a picture or two of me in the dress I wore for the Halloween party... Complete with modest sock boobs. :D I'm not sure that it is safe for me to post a pic of me in a dress, though. :biglaugh:
