This wagon is a "roach" for a lot of other reasons than the color.

Well,it's smaller than a house! You could tent it and fumigate...Or is it just one of those cars that "drives you buggy"?.:49:

Well...you would have to read the thread entitled "Anyone live near Brooklyn, NY?" to get the full picture on this. I call ratty cars roaches. The dealer is trying to hide the faults on this car which further incites my angst. Don't like dealers that do that AND charge a $400 bend over fee.

Okay,so a drives you buggy car with seller to match...One of the Post Offices I worked at was a semi-rural area of Los Angeles called El Sereno. There were quite a few dirt roads and alleys in the area. Some of the mail trucks had collected so much dirt, somewhere in the underside of the platform, that they had ant colonies in them.Driven every day trucks, with ant colonies in them.:49:

I also went and checked out the post about Brooklyn and(1)I guess there's a good reason the borough comes with the nickname Crooklyn and (2)helped me see why you guys were so confused about my thoughts on the back-backseats.In the two Ford Torino wagons,I was talking about;the one with a back-backseat had a deep compartment in that spot(like in my Colony Park)but the one with the spare tire there in that spot only had a compartment deep enough for a full size spare.Have no idea how easy it would be to swap those two compartments in 75 Torino wagons, but in the shots of 80's GM wagon back-backs,you guys have been posting,it does look like more of a bolt-out and bolt-in kind of arrangement.

silverfox, have you seen this 88 buick wagon on ebay Item# 190300328000
I don't know if you would like the decals on it, but it looks really clean from the pictures and it would be pretty cool to drop a big motor in it.

Yes, thanks 84Pari. If any of you remember, I told you about the guy in Milwaukee that has 13 wagons! All GM '80's. Well...this is the guy. I've been in that car. He wanted to sell it to me because he put all the Pace decals on it and wanted me to put a built 455 in it. He has other wagons that I like a LOT more but he is HIGH priced and is sitting on them. He wanted $4700 for this one, which is the worst of the lot, and 4 things stopped me from buying it. The decals, the color (blue inside...I don't like blue cars) it's a Le Sabre and the price. It's a decent car but you would have to mess with the decals (unless you want to drive it that way) and the headliner was down...don't know if he fixed it or not. If anyone besides me is looking for one of these it seems to be a good car other than the things I mentioned.

on that gray wagon silver posted, are those hubcaps even the right year? they look like 92 model roadmaster sedan hubcaps that never even came from the factory on a wagon.

No Jase...they are not the correct caps for that wagon. I believe you are correct about the year they were used. In 88 Buick used the spoke caps or the mag veined rims IIRC.
