Safariknut again thanks for the great job you did on my wagon it certainly has been a hit with people who see it, Thanks to all you on this forum who have made such favorable comments on the car, I promise to not be a stranger in the future
On a side note this has been one of the most difficult builds I have ever done. Getting the drive ability sorted out on this one was a real test of my fortitude.......and I actually have none,,,,,,,, anyway it now drives like I had thought it would after more than a year chasing bad handling gremlins,
One more item I want to tackle is the wagons swaying on quick turns??? Thinking of adding a rear sway bar, Any ideas??

I would say that adding a rear anti-sway bar would be a fairly cost effective way to try and eliminate the issue. You'll never know until you try!

I would go so far as to say both front and rear, as a away bar not only helps keep the body from rolling too much, it also assists the suspension in keeping the tires planted during the turn (no hopping or raising in normal turns--crazy drivers, however, are on their own).

It was my pleasure Tom. BTW I talked to Bob today and he is coming over to pick up his air cleaners. I told him your license plate was done too. Hope you guys had a good time at K'zoo.

Again thanks guys for your comments.......the Chrysler does have a front stabilizer which is stock but no rear one it is going to be a little tight to get one on because of the three inch exhaust but Welder Series has one that looks pretty adaptable this is a project for late this fall I will let you know how it works out
I would guess that a lot older wagons have this issue

It stopped being an issue for most low-cost cars by the early Seventies.

I did put the sway bar on the wagon in the rear there already was one in front. It did make a real difference in the handling.

That's good to hear. No more sliding across the bench on a high-speed curve....
