1996 Buick roadmaster station wagon - $2200 (Roanoke)

This is the absolute last of the true, body on frame, V8, Rear Wheel drive classic American station wagons.

This is a 1996 Buick roadmaster estate wagon collectors edition. Yes, it is powered by the legendary corvette based, LT1 350, 5.7 L. It has 260 hp and 330 foot pounds of torque. Yet it is factory rated at 26 MPG Highway. This is the same drivetrain as the Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac firebird, Impala SS, and maybe others.

Although it weighs 4400 pounds, the factory 0 to 60 time is in the mid 7 second range. It goes without saying that it floats down the interstate. It is a pleasure to drive.

It has a versatile interior with seating for eight. All of the rear seats lay flat enabling it to carry 4 x 8 sheets of plywood, drywall etc. The tailgate swings open and opens flat.

It has 191,000 miles on it. It starts right up every time with no hesitation. It shifts properly and the brakes work as they should.

Lights (automatic headlights), wipers, Power seats, door locks, keyless entry, windows (passenger side rear needs a roller guide) heat, cruise control all work.

It has an aftermarket JVC single din CD player with Bluetooth and a line in jack on the front.

It has an exhaust manifold leak. The check engine light is on I believe due to that leak. Still runs like a champ. The AC does not work. The interior is in mostly good condition. Driver's seat has some wear. Drivers door panel needs replacing but is there. There is no key to the doors, but the keyless entry operates all the door locks. The factory ignition key works as it should.

Forget a minivan, forget an SUV, ride in long, sleek style with power, comfort, and luxury.

The only reason I'm selling is because I don't need two. Title is in hand free and clear.

$2200 or best offer. Located in Roanoke, Virginia.

I will consider trades for a full size truck.

If it's before the O2 sensor at the manifold like he says then it certainly could.
