Pat, I am not sure I can arrange something, certainly not in a short while, but I will try to find out what the costs involved will be (transport, tax etc.). Any idea what your asking price would be?

I would like to get 2,500 for it, but I'm willing to negotiate to a degree. I applied for a shipping quote on line, so we'll see what they come up with. It needs a headliner and carpet, but I have sourced them, if you wanted to purchase them a head of time, we could have them ship with the car to save you some money. Also, I have to put a radiator and a battery in it, but if it's going to be a while before you're ready I could do that. I have a radiator for it. What kind of time frame do you think you're looking at? Also, when you look in to the taxes, find out what value they tax you on. The blue-book value for one in perfect condition is around 6,000, needing work is around 3,000. Do they tax you on what it's worth or what you pay?

Thanks! They tax me on what I paid, as long as it is reasonable. Otherwise they will come up with their own value.

I added some more pictures to the album, this time I tried to focus on what's wrong with it.

I received a reply on the shipping quote, and it's going to cost around 2,500. I have to ship it to California, then it goes over-seas from there.

I was already a bit afraid of that. Although very tempting, I am afraid I have to pass on this one. Like I said before, I do have to be able to sell my Subaru for a decent amount, and I don't see that happening shortly as the whole car market seems to have come to a complete halt! Furthermore, yesterday they announced that 3500 people will probably be laid off at my company (Corus, steel manufacturer, now owned by Tata) and 800 on the site I work. I have good hopes for myself, but untill further notice, nobody can be sure!
