It's crying for a set of white wall tires. I'm a huge fan of wsw's for cars of that vintage.

I love that! I grew up in the 4-dr sedan version of that (72 Marquis Brougham). We had it for 19 years. I begged my dad to sell it to me, but he said that by that time, it was a money pit. I've always wanted the wagon version of it.

1972 would've been the last year for a 429,from the factory. It's a Boss, about 385 hp,but big on torque...It needs it's woodie back, but that's a minor thing,overall...I've had people promise me their cars, when they'd gotten a different one. That always fell through."The Money Pit" reason, usually. "I just spent hundreds of dollars replacing all sorts of stuff on it.You don't want that car!"---If hundreds of dollars worth of stuff just got replaced,,,yes I do!!! One guy even ran a 67 Olds Cutlass convertible into a telephone pole,at 65 mph, just to see if seatbelts work.(they do)
