    I actually did one, in 29F freezing water in Lake Ontario, back in 1973. It wasn't really water. It was broken ice and slush up to your freakin' neck. I stayed in for about 3 minutes. The winner stayed in for 8 minutes. Most of the college students that went, just ran in and out. Those that stayed (only bathing suits, no shirts or shoes) came out like sunburnt lobsters. I'll dig up my old yearbook and scan the picture in someday, when I get the boxes unpacked (reno storage).

    A bunch of us prepared and bought our favourite bottle of 'reviver'. Mine was Seagrams. Its about the only time that you can suck one back and not feel drunk. We went back to campus, turned the showers on with warm water and sat and drank, and sat and drank and sat and shivered and drank.:rofl2:

    I really thought my voice was gonna change. Not recommended. :cry:
