What's your next step to get that done right? Any community colleges around teaching upholstery? Rent an industrial sewing machine for a week and DIY?

Obviously those guys won't step up to the plate without lawyering up, but in the meanwhile, you can't wait for them to wake up to their part.

Well I can handle everything but the seat, I don't think I would want to even attempt it.
I will get quotes from other shops first,
Then I will send him a certified letter as to what he plans to do to make this right.
And let him know I want my money back.
We will see if he will step up and make good.
One thing for sure IT WONT GO TO HIS SHOP TO GET THE WORK DONE!!!!!!!!!!!
    Thanks for letting me vent.

He's been around here for about 30 years. That's why I used him.

    Hey Rick,

I was catching up on your resto thread, and thinking how great your seats looked, and that you found such a great upholsterer...then I got to the recent posts. I am so bummed for you! :slap:
Hopefully, you can find another better shop to finish this job.

I am glad that your mom is OK.

He doesn't appear too skilled to me. Newspaper and duct tape for masking? No tarps over the seats to protect them. What a Bozo.

This is just terrible. How can you NOT get upset? These guys really should see that when you take your pride and joy to them that you expect them to treat it as such. I'm sorry this has happened to you. You have such a beautiful car and instead of them helping you take a step forward these idiots sent ya 2 steps back. Is everything repairable?? I'm not sure why they gobbed all that stuff on your cargo area panels or why they did it inside the car. That was just plain stupid. Rat basta$#@!!!!
