Why do you cheapskates think that it is high, comparatively?

    Because we're cheap SOB's........ j/k (mostly)

Really, this one could be hard to get agreement on, as to an accurate market value. It's certainly a nice station wagon, no getting around that. Is it worth $20k.....? Maybe to someone who 'had one just like it in the 60's. Personally, I think the market value on this one would be closer to $15k, where you would start to get some interest on E-Bay from multiple buyers. If it were a Squire in the same condition, then I would put it in the $20k range.

I agree with Krash. It's all about pricing correctly for the market.

A house on my street was for sale last spring. Some guy bought it, renovated it and put it back on the market in the fall. Priced too high. Way, way too high.

Last month his neighbours put their house up for sale, priced lower and at a right price for the market. Guess which house is still for sale, and which one sold?

This is a nice Country Sedan, no doubt, but you'd have to find that one person who really, really, really wants this Country Sedan to pay $20k for it.

    Perspective

Search your local craigslist for a near-fully depreciated vehicle for $20,000. I bet this one will become more appealing.
