has anybody put front disc brakes on their 64 Pontiac Safari? Are there any factory spindles available or do you need to buy a conversion kit? Thank you.

I don't think disc brakes were an option in '64 yet. There are kits that bolt on to your current spindle. Scarebird and Master Power Brakes should offer kits for you. I'm sure there are others. A lot depends on what size wheels you are running and what you can fit under them. If you are only running 14" or 15" wheels then you will probably be stuck with a relatively small rotor.

You buy a conversion kit and run 15" wheels. No factory big car disc brakes until 1967 and those are rare.
