Those '63 'XL' buckets are just about some of the nicest bucket seats from the early '60's. A lot of the GM supposed 'buckets' were pretty flat, the Chrysler's were not quite as bad, but these were real comfortable. Looked beautiful, too. I believe they were the same basic frame as the buckets in the '61 - '63 T-Bird, just with a different upholstery pattern. Also, Ford's'big car' bucket seats changed for the '64 model year.

As to the auction, we're at $11,600, but it's still got 5 days to go. It's had 10 or 11 bidders on it so far.
Tune in next Wednesday (May 2nd) at 4:00PM PST to watch it end. Should be interesting.

Well...remember Fox......CE is a young lad and the bench seat would be a lot better for sparkin'. :disagree:

Bench seats are more practical. I can get more people in there, or the little lady can sit close by me. I've had 11 or 12 cars and only 2 had buckets and my girlfriends hated them. Plus, I like being able to throw stuff on the seat next to me, iPod, cell phone, all that right in reach.

Yep, best to do this while the "little" woman is still, uh, "little".........later on you'll both find bucket seats are much more comfortable, and safer if you get my drift.:rofl2::clap::evilsmile:

Well, we're all supposed to be interested in this super nice 63 Squire and guessing how much the reserve is and what it might go for?
