I watched the video, and what I found amazing is that, though the two systems work on the same theory, the Skyliner and Continental do not share parts or designs. The Skyliner used dual jacking screws to raise and lower the main top, while the Continental used hydraulics.
I commented on Leno's video, telling Cashman that he ought to publish a service manual, for when he's no longer around to rescue owners of these cars. I suppose, one can sit down and figure all that out again, for taking his place someday. But, why let another trade die off, like body-leading almost has?
