Something got lost in translation? Take 3 steps forward... :banghead3:

Now that is definitely one editor who deserved an enema. No digicams back then? :whew:

Those digicams were there some where, just not at my house. For years afterwards,I would tell people I knew, who had Haynes books,to read all the instructions first, before doing anything. They would either look at me,confused---or say,"Yeah,I know"...

The easy answer is yes. Mine didn't come with one either. I got one on a junkyard but beware they are heavy. The only thing is there are no clips to hold the bottom seat cushion or the lever to release the latch. But nothing that can't be over come.

Thank you all for your help. My spare and jack are in the passenger side rear quarter. took me forever to find it. my gas tank is right behind the middle row seats and theres a real floor there. I have the original manuels that came with the car. Both are about 4-5 inches thick on anything i need help on...except seats. the other manuel is on all the electricals. Im going to try to get some pictures of the rear quarters for you all. If i cant get a full sized bench seat there im only looking for another two seats or so. Maybe racing seats?

I wil try to get you pictures of the stock rear bench seat. It's not a 3 person full bench. But it does fit to adults
I fit in it and i am 6'4". Now if you want racing buckets look at my build thread. I am putting 4 racing seats in the front. I have the 2 fronts mounted. Maybe the 2 rear seats will get mounted this weekend.

Thinking oof road racing it on track days. But to be honest you would be amazed at how comfortable these seats really are. BUT they are not for those that are width challenged. Its a good thing i am The Stickman. They really keep you in one place.

Ok here are the pics i promised. Yes I know how bad and dirty it looks. Between trying to get all 4 buckets mounted and trying to get the entire front suspension done the interior is lacking right now.

Here it is with the floor flat.
Here with the first section folded up
    [IMG]
And with the seat back all the way up.
Here is the latch you use to pull the seat back up or down as it locks in place
    [IMG]
And the hinge that bolts the seat back down and the cable the latch goes to.

Well when you see how low the car will be then you will know how serious I want this car to be. I have been looking at these.

They are the lower control arms for the rear suspension. CNC carved out of a solid bar of aluminum and then anodized black. It's sweet. Doh!!! I mean sick!!!

I'm impressed! Really. I never knew they'd achieved that level of tensile and torsional strength in aluminum! Light weight and super strong. What a combo that is!

I would think "oof road racing" is what you'd get with stock seats!(joke) Have often thought about better seats in many of my cars.Just going over bumps or potholes can give me that "oof" feeling. And then, there's that bit of getting my tired old body into the car, after a long day's work, and being more achy at the end of the drive home...And then, there's the angle of;before wearing seatbelts was required by law in California,I was wearing mine all the time. The car that convinced to wear it all the time?...A 67 Bug!..I got tired of having to reposition myself in the seat after making turns. That and not really liking it when the emergency brake handle would stab me in the right side of my butt during quick left turns.:naughty:
