The 30th Annual EyesOn Design Exhibition will be held in Grosse Pointe Shores on June 18, 2017 (Father's Day). The show typically contains between 250 and 300 vehicles in a variety of categories. Exhibited vehicles are chosen based on the year’s theme by invitation only. In addition, EyesOn Design features special exhibitions and concept and production vehicles which debuted during the previous year’s auto show circuit, including ones which were awarded at EyesOn Design at the North American International Auto Show. This year, one of the categories will feature station wagons. I'm looking for 10 to 15 station wagons to demonstrate the breadth and creativity of station wagon designs from the 'teens through the 1970's. Vehicles should be pristine original or restored to original condition. Here are some examples of the wagons we would like to feature: At least two depot hacks (would LOVE to find an early Rapid!) One or two Nickel era examples 1935 to 1941 Packard Early 50's Nash Edsel (preferably 1958) Studebaker Wagonaire 1957-58 Olds Fiesta or Buick Caballero Mercury Colony Park 1959-64 Chrysler 4-door hardtop wagon 1972-76 GM Clamshell Representative Ford Country Squires from the 50s through the 70s If you have a wagon that you would like to have considered, please send me a PM and I'll follow up with you. I have been fortunate enough to have been invited several times with my GSX's to this event. It is one of the premier events, on par with Pebble Beach IMHO, in the world. If you have the opportunity to attend, one should do so without question. I had an awesome time each time I have been invited.
Thanks for the glowing recommendation, Brad! We are very proud of our event and I'm glad to hear you have been so happy with the show.
