Forget the alleged bogus "issues" regarding this Oldsmobile. This is an original 23-year-old Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser offered at a bargain basement price on craigslist by the original owner. $1500 for a loaded and comlete station wagon with every available 1990 factory power option!? Don't miss it! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

:biglaugh:Calm down, jwd! You're going to have a stroke here. I know you love the wheels and the price is good but I don't want you dying on us over this car!:rofl2:
There are some issues but $1500 is a good price for one of these anymore. I see some things and wonder about them since the car hasn't sold. Can't hardly go wrong for 1500 bucks, though.

If I were closer, I would SNAP this one up at that price. I don't even like G.M. vehicles, especially with the 307, and I would grab this car! It is a beauty, albeit with some very minor looking issues. Hope someone who loves it grabs it quick. It is down into derby territory now!

Ok. I cannot understand at all why this Olds is still unsold?! Anyone with any insights, I look foward to hearing from you. Whatever its possible flaws, this Custom Cruiser now is priced at DD level, and it looks far, far better than deserving that sort of fate. :)

Thoughts?! What is the problem?

We can't see the car as well as a person standing next to it. Possibly, and I don't know this, it may be a rust bucket underneath. Or maybe it runs bad. It's possible, when viewed up close and personal, that people are seeing the car as a bad deal for reasons not shown in the pix.

It's near Washington D.C. Perhaps everyone there wants to be seen driving a Mercedes or BMW............

That's a tough decision. I think I'd still hold out for a non-wood, 89 or older version. But this one doesn't need much for the price and for a one owner, books and records, for $1500, it's a steal. And it has THE WHEELS. I hate 'em but they'd sell easy and make me enough money to get those quarter windows refinished and throw on some 15" steel wheels and some 71-72 98 hubcaps:

All of what you say may very well be true, silverfox.

There must be some reason this Olds is still for sale, but whatever it is maybe is not terribly apparent. :p
