This one looks to be in exceptional condition for a price of $3,500. Anybody in Tennessee need a good wagon?

really nice ..... in the ebay pics you can see it was made in canada the only thing i don't like the looks of is the way the wheels don't seem to fill out the wheel well - especially in the rear. can bigger wheels be put on these?
Yes, I had a 80 Colony witch I put the Mopar 15" slotted cop rims on. If memory serves ..... P255/60R 15's is what I "think" were on the back. They fit/filled the well and were not a over kill.
I wonder if all of the Panther wagons were Canadian-built? Every one I've run across has been built there.
All Panther cars were built in St. Thomas Ontario. The plant was recently closed after the final Town Cars and Crown Vic's were discontinued. I agree that the wheel track looks way to narrow on all 79-91 Panther cars. The turbine wheels look better than stock hubcaps. A friend, and Ford engineer once described the early cars as a "hippo on tiptoes". The look was improved with a wider track on the 92 aero redesign.
By "All Panther cars", just be clear are you including 4 door sedans from 79 till the end of the run? Either way I will have to disagree. Canada had the Meteor name attached to these cars wagon included till the end of 1981. I have seen both back in the day but yet they were RCMP police cars and I remember years back on this site some one posted a passenger white 80/81 Meteor Panther wagon, plain jane not frills witch most if not all were..... just a basic meat and potatoes car You have to scroll almost to the bottom of the page for the full read but here is a quote from the link..... Downsizing made the 1980 Marquis nearly a foot and half shorter. The Meteor version came in the smaller size, which also meant that the engine was smaller. The 302 was back as the standard power source. There was little change for the 1981 Marquis Meteor. Alas, that was the final Meteor. But there was an irony about the 1980 and 1981 Canada-only Meteors. They were all built in Ford's St. Louis, Missouri plant. Of course, every one of them was shipped to Canada. http://www.thunderbird.me/ford-history/141-ford-of-canada-heritage.html
