This got stranger. I went to this dealer in Huntley around 1:30pm today. This time there was a car parked in front and more lights on. Knocked on the door, no one to be found.

Could it be, to see these cars, its by appointment only?

Wow! Now this is how a Country Squire should be ordered!
It has all the right equipment, and it's condition is fantastic! (and presented honestly).

I would imagine when the bidders from that other '78 see this loaded creampuff :banghead3:, they will bail on that stripper like rats off a sinking ship!:rofl2:

Right, wix....looks like my guess on the other one will never be reached!:D
This one, as nice as it is, could still use a 460. Not sure they had them in 78 though. I know they did in 77. I know my 77 Lincoln had a 460 but it was the last year for that engine in those cars.
And now...to reiterate KK's question....How much will THIS one go for??

What a gorgeous car. It will be interesting to see what this one sells for. Wouldn't it be a real treat to end up with a brand spanking new 32 year old station wagon.

Wow. I'm not usually into red interiors, but that one in Twin Falls is so nice I'd overlook it.

Kind of wierd that 2 very low mile wagons, almost identical, come on the market at the same time.

First one probably won't be getting any more bids now........

Took 32 years to double its retail price. I paid $9,400 for my new 1981 Fairmont Futura (loaded) in Canuck bucks. Probably $7,600 USD$.

DANG! I missed my guess by $232. :biglaugh: :thumbs2:
I feel bad for the buyer....I ALSO have a hunch that it won't be a great runner.
