1977 Pontiac Grand Safari Wagon odometer: 70964 paint color : green size : full-size type : wagon drive : rwd fuel : gas transmission : automatic title status : clean cylinders : 8 cylinders
    condition: excellent

    1977 Pontiac Grand Safari Wagon.

Exceptionally nice quality - unrestored original. Not 100% perfect - it does show some age - but still very impressive.

I purchased this wagon in 1999 from the daughter of the original owner in Rochester NY. He worked at Eastman Kodak in Rochester - (back when Kodak was a large major corporation).

Very rare and pretty dark Berkshire green with dark wood accent color combination. There never seemed to be very many 77/78/79 Pontiac wagons around - and I have never seen another with this color combination as long as I've owned this one.

Of all the GM divisions, only these Pontiacs had the woodgrain accent on the rooftop luggage carrier.

Engine is the base 5.0 liter Pontiac V8 with 2-barrel carb. Automatic transmission. Runs and drives very nice. Idles and runs very smooth and quiet.

All the options work. Air conditioning works. Power windows are very fast! - (faster than GM made them in the 80's cars).

Does not have the 3rd rear seat option - just more underfloor cargo storage.

    70,964 original miles.

I replaced the seats years ago with better cloth velour from a mid 80's Pontiac wagon - the originals were vinyl plastic with no center armrest up front. I still have the originals.

Asking $5500. No ridiculous low-ball offers please.

Please contact me thru Craigslist email and I can provide my phone number. I'd like to avoid all the lowball text messages and scam offers.

Price not unreasonable for as nice as this Pontiac is! Only downside is the underpowered 301 V8.

    True, but a 400 or 455 is practically a "bolt-in" swap!
